Such opinion pieces in newspapers are about as pointless as blog postings by people who write about their chocolate couscous cooking experiences. It’s a shame they get pushed so much by the media publishers these days. A more cost effective way to sell advertising and keep the publication a-float than well researched journalism, I suppose.
