On that occasion, the weather was just so hot, consistent and drought-stricken, that on waking up we diverted from our main plan to instead walk up over the tops to Arete and Dundas, and then north over west peak, aiming for a nice track that&#8217;d been remembered from 10 through all the from West Peak.
